Juliette Pénélope Pépin

Juliette Pénélope Pépin x Sausset Leou Tray 1

Developed in collaboration with the Paris-based architecture studio Sausset Leou, whose furniture practice explores precise forms through traditional craft and understated construction. The Tray marks the beginning of an ongoing dialogue between architecture and ceramics. Pairing a Raku-fired ceramic tile with a solid oak base, the piece brings together contrasting textures and traces of fire.

Notes

Each tray is made by hand. Variations in the Raku firing, burnished ceramic surface and the grain and charring of the oak are an inherent part of the making process, ensuring every piece is unique.

Care

Wash the ceramic surface gently by hand after use. Wipe the wooden base with a soft, damp cloth and avoid prolonged exposure to water. Allow both elements to dry thoroughly before storing.
