This October, aarticles travels to Tokyo for The Setting, a four-day exhibition at Vacant/Centre, presented as part of Praxis #3. Opening on Friday, October 2, the exhibition brings together pieces from our collection with contemporary design and found objects sourced in Japan.

Praxis is an open-ended installation initiated by Yusuke Nagai, founder of Vacant, and developed within the gallery space at Vacant/Centre. For Praxis #3, aarticles joins the installation as its guest.

At the centre is the table: a place where people gather, eat, work, arrange objects and exchange words. Different objects and people come together around it, creating a setting that shifts with its arrangement and with those who gather there.

On Saturday, October 3, we will also host a special dinner with Tokyo-based artist and chef Ola Szwałek, a longtime friend of aarticles founder Kasia Sznajder. Gathering around the table at the centre of the exhibition, we will share an evening of food and conversation.
