Refund policy

 

Many of the pieces offered by Aarticles ApS are handmade, vintage, or produced in limited runs. As a result, variations in surface, form, and finish are inherent to their nature and are not considered defects. Please read the following policy carefully before placing your order.

 

1. Right of Withdrawal (EU Customers Only)

If you are a customer within the European Union, you have the legal right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receiving your order.

To exercise this right:

  • Contact us at shop@aarticles.co with your order number.

  • Items must be returned unused, in their original condition and packaging.

  • Unless otherwise agreed, return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.

  • Once we receive and inspect the returned item, refunds will be issued within 14 days via the original payment method.

 

2. Returns & Exchanges (Eligible Items)

Returns for change of mind are accepted only for eligible items purchased within the EU.

  • Returns must be initiated within 14 days of delivery.

  • Items must be unused, in original condition, and securely packaged for return.

  • Exchanges are subject to availability and must be approved in advance.

  • Items returned without prior notice or approval may not be accepted.

 

3. Non-EU Customers

For customers outside the EU, all sales are final. Returns, cancellations, and exchanges are not accepted unless the item is faulty or damaged in transit.

 

4. Non-Returnable Items

The following cannot be returned or refunded unless confirmed defective:

  • Made-to-order or customised pieces

  • Limited-edition and one-of-a-kind works

  • Vintage or found objects

  • Items returned without prior written authorisation

 

5. Faulty or Damaged Items

We take great care to ensure each item is thoroughly inspected before shipping. However, if your item arrives damaged or you believe it to be faulty:

  1. Contact us immediately at shop@aarticles.co

  2. Include your order number and clear photographs of the damage or defect

Where a fault is acknowledged, we will:

  • Repair the item, where possible

  • Replace it (if stock allows), or

  • Issue a full refund if repair or replacement is not possible

Warranty (Reklamationsret) – Danish Law

All products are covered by the 24-month warranty against manufacturing defects, in accordance with Danish law. This does not cover:

  • Variations inherent to handmade production

  • Surface marks or patina on vintage items

  • Damage due to improper care, installation, or handling

 

6. Refund Process

  • Refunds are issued via the original payment method only.

  • You will receive email confirmation once your refund has been processed.

  • Processing times may vary depending on your bank or payment provider.
