Shipping policy

 

1. Shipping Destinations

We ship worldwide from Copenhagen, Denmark.

  • Denmark: PostNord or GLS

  • EU & EEA: Tracked courier services

  • Rest of World: DHL, FedEx, UPS, or similar insured couriers

 

2. Shipping Times (Estimated, Post-Dispatch)

  • Denmark: 2–4 business days

  • EU: 4–8 business days

  • Rest of World: 6–14 business days

These timeframes apply from the date of dispatch, not from purchase.

 

3. Shipping Rates

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout and depend on the size, weight, value, and destination of the item. Custom packaging may be required for fragile or large objects.

 

4. Customs, Duties & Import Taxes

For customers outside the EU:

  • Import duties, taxes, and customs fees are not included in the purchase price or shipping cost.

  • These charges are the responsibility of the customer.

  • Aarticles ApS is not liable for delays due to customs processing.

 

5. Packaging & Handling

Each item is inspected and packed with care using protective materials appropriate to its nature. Some works may ship in custom-made crates to ensure safe transit.

  • In-stock items: packed within 3–5 business days of purchase

  • Made-to-order items: production lead time begins upon purchase

 

6. Shipping Confirmation & Tracking

You will receive a confirmation email with tracking details as soon as your order has shipped.

 

7. Insurance

High-value, limited, and one-of-a-kind works ship insured. Additional insurance can be arranged upon request before purchase.

 

8. Delivery & Responsibility

Once an item is delivered to the shipping address provided, responsibility transfers to the customer. If your shipment arrives damaged or is lost in transit, notify us immediately at shop@aarticles.co so we can initiate a claim.

 

9. Delayed or Lost Shipments

If your package is delayed or missing, please contact us with your order number and tracking details. We will assist in liaising with the courier.

 

10. Pre-Order & Made-to-Order Items

Lead times are listed on individual product pages. Production begins upon purchase.
