Eternal Elder Vitrine

Eternal Elders Vitrine is part of Hannah Kuhlmann's Eternal Elders collection, a series of sculptural vessels exploring collecting, memory, and the stories embedded in everyday objects. In this reduced format, the Vitrine shifts from accumulation to display, framing a single object and inviting closer attention to what it holds.

Each Vitrine includes three magnetic Lucky Pennies, selected for their imagery of women, plants, animals, and small symbols. Removed from circulation and transformed into collectible objects, they can be rearranged over time, allowing the composition to evolve.

The work can be expanded with Cabinet Jewellery by goldsmith Lisa Scherebnenko, a series of magnetic sculptural elements designed to gradually build a personal cabinet of curiosities.

Maker

Founded in 2017, Studio Kuhlmann is the Cologne-based practice of designer Hannah Kuhlmann. Working primarily with steel, fabric, and light, Kuhlmann creates sculptural furniture and objects that balance precision with traces of the handmade. Her practice explores material contrasts, craftsmanship, and the relationship between people and the objects they live with, often through ongoing collaborations with artisans across disciplines.
