Anna Fiedler

Scanner (Wall piece)

Brown wire with red and blue tones combined with white thread to create an interwoven composition, producing subtle variations in shadow and surface as light moves across the piece. The composition recalls both textile pattern and digital scan; a signal made visible. In Fiedler’s work, weaving functions as notation, recording motion through structure, each intersection a point of tension and release.

Maker

Anna Fiedler works with weaving as both structure and metaphor. Her practice explores the body’s forms and constraints: the torso’s symmetry and suppleness, the daily acts of holding in and letting go. Through this lens, weaving becomes a way to think about tension and release, but also stability and collapse.
