Kasia Sznajder

Pouring Vessel I

Handbuilt stoneware vessel in white clay, formed with an elongated spout and organically shaped handle emerging from a rounded body. The surface remains unglazed and tactile, holding the natural imprint of its making. Both functional and sculptural, it recalls ancient pouring forms reinterpreted with a contemporary restraint, where gesture becomes structure.

Maker

Kasia Sznajder works with clay through forms that are measured and pared back; each piece begins from a sense of composure, shaped by proportion and balance. Yet within that calm, a shape might lean or swell, following the instinct of its making. Simplicity, therefore, becomes an exploration rather than a fixed ideal, the material recording the pressure of handwork and the subtle shifts of firing.
